Exhibiting at Wirksworth Festival

If you fancy an artsy weekend, swing by the Wirksworth Festival 7/8 Sep. Catch me at the Makers Market in the Town Hall.

Their website says:

"A truly unique event, the Art & Architecture Trail involves people opening their homes to turn the town into a multifaceted gallery with over 100 artists & makers exhibiting and selling their work in more than 70 venues.

"The exhibition spaces are in buildings ranging from charming stone cottages to impressive Georgian townhouses, historic and quirky buildings, gardens, courtyards, shop windows and civic buildings and churches.

"Wirksworth is a place where geology and landscape have shaped its character and people for generations. Come and enjoy a wander through the lanes and byways of Wirksworth, meet the artists, talk about their work and buy affordable work to take home!"

I've been visiting Wirksworth for many years so am really looking forward to catching up with old friends too.
